The Bavarian State Opera, with more than 350 years of history, is one of the leading opera houses worldwide. Located directly at Max-Joseph-Platz, it shapes Munich’s cityscape through posters, publications, and flags.

From 2021 onwards, Serge Dorny led the strategic repositioning of the institution. For the 2020/21 season, I developed a visual concept that combines bold colors with a contemporary visual language. In 2022, I took over the leadership of the opera design team and was responsible for the visual development of numerous productions. Under my direction, hundreds of posters, publications, and digital and printed applications were created in close collaboration with dramaturgy and stage direction.
